Grove, OK -- Mary Jane Reed, 84, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Integris Grove General Hospital, Grove, Oklahoma. Mary Jane was born October 2, 1922 at Grove, Oklahoma, to Robert Berry and Wilmuth (Walker) Berry. She spent most of her life living in Grove. She was a deeply devoted Christian, and was an active member of the First Baptist Church. She was a "Cherry Red" at Integris Grove General Hospital for many years. This was one of many ways she demonstrated her deep affection for other people. She loved to laugh. Mary Jane loved ice cream, especially Dairy Queen Blizzards. She also enjoyed her flowers, her friends, and cooking. According to her family, she made the world's best biscuits. Mary Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel M. Reed. She is also preceded by her three brothers; Bob Berry, Jeff Berry, and Jim Berry, and her grandson, Lannie Lybarger. She is survived by her three children; one son - Don Lybarger and his wife Sherri of Grove, Oklahoma; two step-daughters -- Celia Brewer and her husband David of Little River, California, and Lynda Reed of Key Largo, Florida. Mary Jane is also survived by six grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren, and one brother, Joe Berry and his wife Oneeta of Grove. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at First Baptist Church of Grove, Oklahoma, with Pastor James Wilder officiating. Family will receive friends at a visitation at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove on Tuesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Micheal Butler, Jim Berry, Toben Lybarger, Dennis Hutchinson, Greg Spicer and Mike Spicer will serve as casket bearers, with Austin Butler and Carson Lybarger serving as honorary casket bearers. Burial will follow immediately at the Olympus Cemetery in Grove. Family and friends may send online condolences by viewing obituaries at www.honoringmemories.com.
