Mary Rodriguez

Mary Rodriguez, 85 year old rural Big Cabin resident, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born on December 11, 1930 in New York City, NY to Frank and Socorro (Alonso) Montanez. Mary was married to Ismael Rodriguez on December 14, 1946 in New York, he preceded her in death. She was an employee of the State of New York, Department of Mental Hygiene, working with mentally challenged youth. Mary retired after 30 plus years of service with the State of New York. After retirement she moved to Big Cabin, Oklahoma to be near her daughter. Mary was an active member of the Disney Assembly of God Church. She loved to read her bible and have family gatherings. Family that preceded her in death include: her husband, a son, Daniel Rodriguez in 2000, a daughter, Peggy Ann Inesta in 2005; sisters, Elsie Price and Alice Ayala. The family includes: her daughter, Rosemary Longmire of Big Cabin; daughter in-law, Ellen Gefter of Arizona; grandchildren, Eric Inesta, Wayne Inesta, Frank Esparza, Peggy Ann Williams, Daniela Schaller, W. H. Longmire, III, Rebecca Rodriguez; numerous great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Chapel in Langley. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Disney Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating. Interment will follow at the Ghormley Cemetery near Pensacola. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
