Mary Sandsness

Mary L Sandsness, 62, a resident of Eucha passed away at Integris Grove General Hospital on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Mary was born on August 21, 1946 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Wallace and Mary (Mills) Higgs. Her and her husband Dale have lived in the Eucha area for fifteen years after moving from Tulsa. Mary was most proud of being a mom and Grandma she was very caring and loved to be a caretaker for her family. She loved to decorate the house for seasons and holidays and was a great cook. Her parents preceded her in death along with her step mother Renie Higgs and a twin sister Martha Robertson. Survivors include her husband Dale Sandsness of the home, her son Jimmy Sandsness and his wife Monique of Mounds, a brother Reggie Higgs of Arkansas, three grandchildren Destanee Sandsness, Jaynie Bonvillian and Ayla Bonvillian. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Duffield Cemetery in Jay. Arrangements are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay. Viewing will be from 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay.
