Matthew Raymond Lindner 25 of Nowata, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 3, 2009. Matt was born on January 23, 1984 to Diane (Insalaco) Lindner and Gary Lindner in Nowata, Oklahoma. While receiving his education from Claremore High School he was also very active in football and track. Matt was roustabout equipment operator in the oil fields a passion that stayed with him from a very early age. He enjoyed landscaping and anything and everything that dealt with being outside. Matt loved his family, he adored his sons and he was about to marry the woman he loved, Teresa Slane. He was a member of the New Life Assembly Church in Nowata. Matt accomplished many great things in 25 years but his greatest achievement were his two sons; Hayden and Joseph. Matt is survived by his fiancé Teresa Slane of Nowata, 2 sons Hayden William Ray Lindner and Joseph Alexander Lindner of Nowata, his parents Diane and Joe Harper of Nowata, and Gary and Candi Lindner of Bradley, Illinois, 3 sisters Jody Lynn Harper of Nowata, Nicki Harper and her husband Shon Ransom of Coffeyville, Kansas, and Jamie Frederick and her husband Stephen of Nowata, 1 brother Gary Lindner and his wife Krista of Nowata, 3 close friends John Stacy, Ruston Gillman, and Lucas Maggard, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a town full of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Mary Insalaco, his grandfather Pete Harper and his grandfather Ray Lindner. Visitation will be held on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Home in Nowata. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the New Life Assembly Church with Pastor Arlis Henegar officiating. Final committal rites will be accorded Mr. Lindner in the Fairview Cemetery in Talala. Stephen Frederick, Nathan Hathcoat, Micah Walker, Daniel Harper, John Stacy, and David Sumrall will honor Matt by being casket bearers. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund for Hayden and Joseph has been established at the Regent Bank in Nowata.
