Maudine Winderweedle, 86, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Craig General Hospital after an extended illness. She was born December 12, 1922 in Gloster, Louisiana, the daughter of Joseph Perkins and Jessie Flores Perkins. She resided at Burroughs Manor for ten years and Rosewood Terrace for the past year. She worked for Walgreens Drug in St. Louis, Missouri as a manager in her earlier years as well as Cinch Connectors. She was of the Baptist Faith and knew the Lord. She enjoyed reading and watching her favorite TV programs. She is survived by: a son, Bill Winderweedle and wife Patricia of Vinita, a daughter; Peggy Winderweedle of Brookings, Oregon, four granddaughters, Jessica Winderweedle, Natalie Hoggard, Mitzi Dixon, Renee Escobar, two grandsons, Rick Rettke, Robert Rettke, five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and five sisters. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 7-8 p.m., at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2009 with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
