Mavis Barker

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita, 918-256-5555 -- Mavis Lenora Jones Barker was born in Rulo, Nebraska on January 14, 1921. She graduated from Adair High School in 1939. She worked as a public accountant for over 50 years. Mavis was married to Harley Huggins, and later married to Earl Barker, they preceded her in death. She passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 in Vinita. She is survived by one sister, Patricia Brown of Vinita, two step-sons, Gary Barker of Boise, Idaho and Mark Barker of Modesto, California. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Freewill Baptist Church in Vinita, with Pastor Justin Turner officiating. The graveside service will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 AM at the Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
