Maybell Hollabaugh, 75 year old Langley resident, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, June 25, 2014. Born on November 13, 1938 in Caney, Kansas to Earl and Edna Viola (Sterling) Gordon. On December 26, 1974 she married Harold G. Hollabaugh in Nowata, they have lived in the Spavinaw and Langley areas for many years. Maybell was a member of the First Christian Church in Langley and also of the Faith Connection Group who gathered in Langley on Thursdays. She was very crafty and an expert seamstress, making caps for many welders, she also made clothing for family members and friends. Maybell was an avid bowler, bowling in leagues in Coffeyville and Pryor over the years. She loved being with her family, and they will miss her greatly. The family includes: her husband Harold of the home, son Rick Harris and wife Laura of Strang, step-son Farron Hollabaugh and wife Mary of Ketchum; brothers, Marvin Gordon and wife Jean of South Edna, Willard Gordon and wife Kay of Flint, Texas, Tom Gordon and wife Chris, Tim Gordon and wife Eva all of Coffeyville; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, a son Marlon Harris in 1981 and a sister, Earlene Morgan. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church in Langley, with Pastor Joel Rutherford officiating.
