Mckenna Downs

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. 918-786-2261 McKenna Dawn Downs, 16, passed away on February 29, 2016 due to injuries from a fatality automobile accident in Bentonville, Arkansas. McKenna was born on June 16, 1999 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Robert John Downs and Cherokee Dawneta (Williams) Page. McKenna was a sophomore at Grove High School. She was a member of the Grove Marching Band where she played the flute and was part of the Color Guard. She was also involved in the Drama Class where she recently placed 3rd in a Duet. McKenna was an excellent artist, she enjoyed abstract drawings, music, spending time with her family and friends. McKenna loved her God. McKenna was preceded in death by her "Poppie" Johnny Lee Williams, her "Ma" Great Grandmother Oleta Jones, Great Grandpa Kenneth Jones, her Grandmother Rachael Downs, Grandpa John Downs, and Great Grandparents Mildred and Brooks Williams. She is survived by her parents Cherokee Dawneta Page and Robert John Downs, two brothers Colton Lee Crane and John Robert Downs, her sister Rachael Downs, her "Nana" Kenneta Williams, Aunt JoQuita Gray and Uncle Dave Gray, one niece Kadence May Crane, cousins Cheyenne Glee Gray and Dakota Gray, and nephew Kaleb Dean Perdue. She will be dearly missed by her best friend Natalie Parent-VanDyke. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 PM , Friday, March 4 , 2016 , at Worley - Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove. A graveside service will be held, 11AM at Olympus Cemetery in Grove on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
