Worley-Luginbuel FuneralHome, Grove, OK (918)786-2261 - McKenzie Fay Wilcox, 22, of Grove, OK, was born on June 24, 1993, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and walked into the loving arms of the Lord on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. McKenzie had a passion for life, living it to the fullest. A beautiful young woman, a decision to enjoy a beautiful day, a ride to visit the animal sanctuary. McKenzie's life could not be saved for the Lord must have better plans for her in store. McKenzie is survived by her daughter, Addyson Wilcox; her parents, Brian and Michele Miller four brothers, Maison Miller, Austin Miller, Devon Miller and wife Alex, and Caleb Miller; aunts Melissa Youngblood and Margie J. Miller; uncles, Gary Youngblood and wife Michelle, Justin Youngblood and wife Marlene, Ron Miller and wife Donna, Kevin Miller and wife Jo Lynn, Ken Miller and wife Margie; her grandmamma, Bertha Story; and a host of other relatives and dear friends. She had a love for music and loved to sing. While in school, she was always a member of choir. Mr. Davis, school choir director, was her mentor as she often looked to him for guidance and direction. McKenzie was a great artist and enjoyed cheerleading and playing soccer, dance, t-ball, and performing in the Playmakers. She was a member of the Gifted and Talented Program in school. McKenzie graduated from Grove High School in 2012 and from the Grove Beauty College with a degree in Cosmetology in 2014. She loved to shoot, to ride horses, and to be outdoors fishing and swimming in the creek. She liked to sew and was always making something crafty like her Dreamcatchers. Above all things, her Greatest joy was being a mother. Addyson Fay Wilcox, two years of age, was her "Minnie Me". McKenzie and Addyson had such a special bond. They would sing together, play together, learn together and pray together. McKenzie's sweet little Addyson will be given the gift of all your kindness, both financially and compassionately. A family member has organized a "GoFund" account www.gofundme.com/xzr6s3ac for her benefit and all your contributions will be reserved for Addyson's health, education and welfare. Every note and condolence will be saved for her so that she may find comfort in them when she is older. McKenzie had recently made a decision to pursue a career in the medical field. She had a desire to help and care for others. As an organ & tissue donor, her final act was to share herself and help others in need. Her energy, her love, her laughter and incredible memories are all still here with us. The impact she had on this community was great as evidenced by the tremendous outpouring of love and kindness we have received. McKenzie would not say goodbye, as it was always see you later! A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2016, at 2:00 pm at Crosswired Cowboy Church east of Grove, OK.
