McKenzy Rose Himsl, infant daughter of Phillip James Himsl and Jenea Nicole Carter was still born at 11:18 p.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. McKenzy weighed 5 lbs. 10 oz. and was 18 inches long. She was a beautiful baby girl with black curly hair. In addition to her parents of Grove, McKenzy is survived by her paternal grandparents, James Himsl of Gravette, AR and Stephanie Himsl of Grove, OK; her maternal grandparents, James and Sandy Vitro of Grove, OK; her paternal great-grandparents, Rose Himsl of Gravette, AR and Steve and Willa Dean Ames of Grove, OK; maternal great-grandparents, Lorna and Howard Holloway of Claremore, OK, Bud Kirch of Kansas City, KS, and Mary Ann Adams of Grove, OK; her maternal great-great-grandfather, Guy Gillespie of Parker, KS; two uncles, Matt and Lana Himsl and Levi Hunsaker both of Grove; five aunts, Stephanie Marshall and John Mullin of Afton, OK, Mindi Carter, Eva Vitro, Tesa Vitro, and Krista Vitro all of Grove, OK; two cousins, Alexia Mullin and Maddysen Mullin both of Afton, OK; and many other extended family members. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove with Pastor Jerry Baser officiating. Burial will follow at Olympus Cemetery in Grove. Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandfathers, James Himsl and James Vitro. The family suggests memorials to the Labor and Delivery Department of St. John Medical Center in Tulsa. Memorials may be left at or mailed to the funeral home. Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove is in charge of arrangements.
