Merit Nivison

Merit Dee Nivison, age 71 of Bluejacket, died December 6, 2009 at his home. He was born in Big Cabin, OK on August 7, 1938 the son of Dick Nivison and Ella Faye Maxwell. He attended Ketchum School. In 1956 Merit joined the Army. He also worked as his family's caregiver several years. Merit is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Lenora Hall, and one brother Scott Nivison. Survivors include his sisters Wanda Nelson of Bluejacket and Guida Mitchem of Marshfield, MO, nephews David Nelson and wife Karen and Bill Nelson and wife Linda and niece Faye Remington all of Bluejacket, as well as numerous grand nieces and nephews.
