Grove, Oklahoma ~ Michael "Mike" Ivan Cantrell, age 51, died at his residence on Wednesday February 23, 2011. Mike was the son of Charles Ivan and Hazel Irene (Caudle) Cantrell. He was born on January 5, 1960 in Syracuse, Kansas. Mike had relocated from Kansas to the Grove area twenty-two years ago. He loved to collect knives, hunt, fish, working on the farm and anything outdoors. Mike was a member of the Calvary Stampede Cowboy Church in Southwest City, Missouri. Mike was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Mike is survived by his parents Charlie and Hazel Cantrell, one brother Mark Cantrell and his wife Joan of Grove, Oklahoma, and his nephew Jess James Cantrell of Ulysses, Kansas. A visitation will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at the Calvary Stampede Cowboy Church in Southwest City, Missouri with Pastor Ed Welch officiating. Serving as casket bearers will be Eugene Cantrell, Elbert Cantrell, Gary Stevens, Jerry Stevens, Mark Cantrell and Jesse James Cantrell. Honorary casket bearers will be Bobby Clay Cantrell, Andrew Cantrell and Brian Mason. Interment will be held at the Lee Cemetery in Gravette, Arkansas.
