Michael Don Dennis

Michael Don Dennis was born on January 22, 1951, to Naomi Brown and Harland Dennis. He was the eldest of five children. He spent a lot of time with his granny and his Aunt Mary Alice as a young boy.

Michael and his family moved to Denver, Colorado, where he graduated from East High school and immediately went to work at the Denver Mint. He retired from the mint after twenty-five years of service.

Michael loved to work. After he returned to Oklahoma to take care of his mom, he went to work for Harvard and then for Spencer in supervising capacities at both jobs.

In 2015 he met Nicole Nash. They were married on March 6, 2016, in Bartlesville, where he resided until his departure from this earth.

Michael is survived by his wife Nicole Dennis of the home; a daughter Denique; two stepsons Bradley Nash and Nathaniel Jones both of Bartlesville, OK; one stepdaughter Kylee Starnes of Bartlesville; his siblings Victor Jackson of Bartlesville; Stephen Jackson of Denver, CO; Larry Dennis-Maddox of Kansas City, KS; and Debra Thompson (Gary) of Bartlesville; a very special Aunt Mary Alice of Baltimore; a very special niece Taneisha Jackson of Bartlesville; and his granddaughter Legacy whom he referred to as “Shorty”.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents; his brother James Jackson; and sister Denise Jackson.

The funeral is at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Miracle Temple Church, 1400 SW Adams Blvd. in Bartlesville. Services have been entrusted to Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave. in Bartlesville. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemoriesbartlesville.com
