Mildred Coughran-Daniels

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Johnnie "Mildred" Coughran-Daniel, 94 year old resident of Grove, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Mildred was born on October 19, 1923 in Finley, OK. She was the loving daughter of Earl and Hallie (Smith) Barnett. Mildred was an outstanding cook, and loved to garden. She was known for having a great sense of humor and being a "preacher's wife" for most of her life, it would come in handy. She enjoyed studying and teaching the Bible, and when her health allowed, worked at the church camps during the summer. Mildred was a member of the Delaware Baptist Church. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Curtis Leo Coughran, Sr. and Arthur Daniel, two brothers, four sisters, her son Curtis Leo Coughran, Jr., and grandchild Brian Coughran and daughter in law Carol Ann (Wallace) Coughran. She will be dearly missed by her two children; Ray Coughran and wife Margaret of Kansas, Oklahoma and Kay Brixey and her husband Andy of Zena, Oklahoma, daughter in-law Jan Pryor and her husband Jack from Adair, Oklahoma, her two sisters Vena Moon of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Geraldine Willoughey of New Mexico. Mildred was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8PM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK. Services are scheduled for 10AM, Friday, January 12, 2018 at Delaware Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Bishop officiating. Mildred will be laid to rest in the Zena Cemetery. Honoring Mildred's life serving as casket bearers will be Kit Coughran, Cody Coughran, Mark Coughran, Dusty Brixey, Todd Guthridge, David Daniel, Curtis Russell and Ed Russell.
