Mildred Partain

May 3, 1928 — July 25, 2012

Mildred Elizabeth (Henson) Partain, 84 year old long time area resident, died Wednesday July 25th, 2012 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was born in Craig County on May 3, 1928 to William Junius Henson, SR. and Almeda Dawson Henson. Mildred loved the Atlanta Braves, reading mystery novels, painting and doing craft works and was an outstanding basketball player at Wayside School. The family includes: her husband Gregory Ellis of the home, many nieces and nephews, close friend Dee Anne Midget and her special little dog, Sammy. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and two brothers. The graveside service will be held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Carselowey Cemetery, Pastor Kevin Baker will officiate.
