Mildred Lavonne Reeder Mildred Lavonne Reeder was born June 14, 1935, in Umpire, Arkansas, to James and Lavada (Crownover) Middlebrooks. She passed from this life at Nowata Nursing Center Wednesday, September 26, 2007 after reaching 72 years, 3 months, and 12 days. She was a Christian woman with a very strong belief in God. She enjoyed reading, playing bingo, and crocheting. On July 25, 1966 she married Johnnie Reeder in Vinita. They made their home in Vinita until about 23 years ago when they moved to Nowata. She loved her family very much and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Mrs. Reeder in death are her parents; and siblings Bub and Glenda Cook. Surviving Mrs. Reeder are her children Frankie Reeder, of Nowata, Sandy Hughes, and husband Bo, of Bluejacket, Kelly Koehn, and husband Joe, of Ponca City, Peggy McCullah, and husband Mike of Monkey Island, Billy Ferrell and wife Lisa, of Houston, Texas, Roger Ferrell, and wife Carol, of Oklahoma City, Cecil Ferrell of Nowata; step-daughter Patsy Erickson, and husband Dean, of Jackson Wyoming; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, siblings Vivian Stelle, James Middlebrooks, Cecil Middlebrooks, Dorothy Spencer, Joyce Cook, and Mary Hoover; a special friend and neighbor Charlotte McLaughlin, many other relatives as well as a host of friends. The family suggests donations to the 10-33 Ambulance service.
