Moylen (Woody) Hathcoat, 89, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at the Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid, Oklahoma. He was born May 7, 1925 in Mayes County, Oklahoma to Josephine (Wade) and Hubert Hathcoat. Woody worked as a welder for American Bridge building, bridges, high rise buildings, Nuclear Power Plants, and many other large construction projects. On September 2, 1958 he married Violet Darlene McKee in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She passed away in 1989. Woody enjoyed going to auctions and buying things he may be able to use some day. He loved old cars and trucks, and tinkering with things. He always liked a good tool. Woody was a member of the pipefitters union and the Nowata Church of God. He will be missed by all who knew him. Woody is survived by a brother, John D. Hathcoat, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Josephine Hathcoat; his wife Violet Darlene Hathcoat; five brothers, Thurman Isador Hathcoat, James Paul Hathcoat, Hubert Efton Hathcoat, Kermit Eugene Hathcoat, Kial Denzal Hathcoat.
