Nadine Johnson

Nadine Johnson Former Vinita resident passed away in Bartlesville, OK at a Nursing Center on Saturday, April 22, 2006. She was born on June 14, 1917 to Walter Edward and Bertha Mae (Smith) Smith Mrs. Johnson owned and operated Nadines Beauty Shop in Vinita. Mrs. Johnson was very active in the First Baptist Church where she was a member. She was Director of the Junior Department, established and directed children's church, taught Sunday school for the Home of Hope, she was a member of the Fidelity Study Club and Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband James Herbie Johnson, one brother Dale Smith, and a sister Helen Smith. Survivors include her daughters Mary Ann Null of Bartlesville and Carolyn Sue Parnell, seven grandchildren Jeff Parnell, Mark Parnell, Michael Parnell, Stephanie Warneke, Holly Null, Stacie Davis, Abby Lackey and Pete Null, she also had fifteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Vinita with Dr. Larry Wallace officiating. Services are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita Honorary Casketbearers will be Mark Parnell, Michael Parnell, Dustin Parnell, Jeff Warneke, Clay Davis, Wayne Lackey, and Pete Null.
