Nadine Prather

Nadine Prather was born on May 28, 1929 in St. Louis, Oklahoma. Mrs. Prather was born to Louis and Edna (Mason) Willard. She grew up and went to school at Vinita, Ok. On July 1, 1946 at the age of 17 she married D. R. Bob Prather in Oswego, KS. Her and her husband were in the ministry for about 50 years. They pastored at Catoosa, OK, Chelsea, OK, and Vinita, OK. She loved teaching and singing in the church. She retired from Home of Hope. Mrs. Prather went home to her heavenly father on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Mrs. Prather had three loving children: Robert Dean Prather, Janice May Voris, and Michael Lee Prather. She was preceded in death by brothers; Clyde, Edgar, Martin and Jimmy Willard and sisters; Georgie Jones and Mildred Griffith. Living sisters include Lucy Donovan, Marie Doland and Karen Dehovit. She had numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Olympus North Cemetery in Grove, OK. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com
