Nancy Francis

Nancy Lynn Francis, 44, a resident of Jay passed away at her home on December 29, 2007. She was born April 29, 1963 in Miami, OK to Sanford and Nellie Mae (Jackson) Downing. She married George A. Francis on July 11, 1984 at the Delaware County Court House. Nancy worked for Mckee Foods for nineteen years which is Little Debbie, she worked as a Cr&egraveme operator. At home she loved to quilt, work on geneology, farm animals, her pets. She was a member of the Mount Hermon church. She was preceded in death by her father Sanford Downing, a brother Harvey Neal Downing, a sister JoAnn Tanner and a niece Michelle King. Survivors include her husband George A. Francis of the home, children Brittany Amber Francis and her husband Mitch, of Jay, Tiffany Lynn Francis, Robert Wicliff Anthony Francis both of the home, one grandson William Ryan Shields, brothers, Ray Gene Downing, Alan Downing and Jim Downing. Nieces and nephews include David Gene Downing, Kimberly Ann Downing, Denise Prins, Amanda Jo Downing, Jimmy Earl Downing, Holly Kaye Downing, Jacob Harvey Downing, Aunts and unlces Elizabeth Beal, James Pokey Jackson, John Downing, Leroy Downing, Bessie Norris. Funeral Services for Mrs. Francis will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 3, 2007 at the Mount Hermon Church, southeast of jay with the Reverend James Bryant and Reverend Tony Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow in the Fields Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
