Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK (918) 253-3222 -- Nancy Lou Robertson, 71, died on February 12, 2015, at her home in Jay, Oklahoma. A memorial service to celebrate Nancy's life will be held Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Eastside Church of Christ in Jay, Oklahoma at 5 pm. Nancy was born on August 6, 1943 to parents Willie and Lillie Robertson during a brief stay in Modesto, California away from their Oklahoma home. Nancy is survived by son, Darrel (Tad) and daughter-in-law Leona Caudill, of the home; grandson, D.J. Blackfox, also of the home; granddaughter Brandy Dodd, and 3 great-grandchildren, all of Leach; brother Kenneth (Big John) Robertson, of Keys, OK; and her sisters, Freda Robertson Kirby, of Spavinaw, OK, and Loretta Robertson, of Topsy, OK. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, and older brother Billy Robertson. Nancy worked for many years at Simmons Chicken Plant in Jay, OK. Her start in the restaurant business began when she took a job at Mel's Diner. The café changed hands several times over the years before becoming Nana's Café, where Nancy continued to work until her health prevented her from doing so. Nancy's life consisted of always doing for others. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she worked hard to provide everything they needed. In the free time that she did have, she loved to play bingo and when she was younger she loved to race cars.
