Nanette Morgan Chanley passed away January 16, 2007 in a Tulsa Hospital after a long illness. She was 44 years old. Mrs. Chanley was born on January 6, 1963 in Tulsa, OK the only child of Charles and Nancy (Franklin) Morgan. She grew up and attended Owasso and Foyil Public Schools graduating in 1981. She then attended Rogers State and Oklahoma State Universities where she sought a marketing management degree. She stayed true to her Alma Mater colors of black and orange. Although her personal favorite colors were Red and Purple. In 1981 she met Eddy Dale Chanley in Claremore and later began dating in 1984. They were married September 12, 1987. To this union a daughter Rhett Amanda Morgan Chanley was born. They lived and operated a dairy farm near Twin Oaks, OK. While at OSU she was involved in the Block and Bridle Club. She worked at Wal-Mart while attending college and was later an associate manager at the Wal-Mart in Siloam Springs, AR from 1987-1995 until her daughter was born. She then became a stay at home mom and helping her husband with the farm. Nannette enjoyed being a mother to Rhett who was a precious enjoyment of her life. She enjoyed reading, crafting, was a creative memories consultant, member of the Delaware County Rural Water District II water Board. She also likes cooking, especially Mexican dishes, collecting cookbooks, precious moments and Coca-Cola memorabilia. At a very early age she made a commitment to serve the Lord. Her faith became stronger and never wavered during her illness. She was known by all for her compassionate heart always wanting to help other. She was a member of the Church on the Move in Tulsa, OK. Nannette was preceded in death by her grandparents Bill Franklin and W.H. (Book) and Juanita Morgan. She is survived by her husband Ed Chanley and daughter Rhett Chanley of the home, her parents Charles and Nancy Morgan, Foyil, OK her grandfather John Franklin of Tulsa, OK. Her in-laws Bob and Beverly Chanley of Inola, OK. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita, OK with Reverends Tim Self and Greg Scott officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
