Naomi Falling

Naomi Ruth Falling, age 80 of Vinita, died Sunday, July 4, 2010. Naomi was born in Big Cabin on May 20, 1930 the daughter of Owen and Ruth (White) Miers. In 1948 she graduated from White Oak High School. She was united in marriage to Louis Falling in Miami on June 1, 1954 and together they raised two children. Naomi loved flowers and always had cookies made at her house. She attended Emanuel Temple Church. Survivors include one sister, Roselea Colvin of Vinita, two brothers Robert Miers and wife Carol of Twin Oaks, OK, and Bill Miers and wife Beverly of Kingsley, Iowa, daughter-in-law Rowena Falling of Vinita, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Falling, her son Richard Falling and daughter Ramona Falling. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2010 with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Interment will follow at Timpson Chapel Cemetery.
