Naomi Ann Johnson

Naomi Ann (Smith) Johnson, 84, of Copan entered into eternal rest on December 24, 2024. Onie, as she was referred to by family and friends, was born on June 20, 1940, to Demcy and Pearl Smith of Barnsdall. She married Billy Ray Johnson on March 22, 1957, and together they welcomed three children. They were also blessed with five grandchildren and one great-grandson. 

In her spare time, Onie enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her cats, feeding the birds, and she could often be found outside tending to her marigolds. 

She is survived by her three children, Floyd and his wife Penney of Barnsdall, Billy Joe of Wann, and Elaine of Kansas. As well as granddaughter Julia and husband Neil of Waco, TX, grandson Nathan of Bartlesville, granddaughter Lilette of Barnsdall, and great grandson Dempsey of Cleburne, TX. She is also survived by four of her five siblings and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, granddaughters Angela and Audra, and her sister Jean. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the chapel at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at the Ethel Reece Cemetery in Barnsdall on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
