Naomi Rogers

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Naomi Levina Rogers, age 83, passed away on January 13, 2016 surrounded by her family at Monore Manor in Jay, Oklahoma. Naomi was born on November 5, 1932 in Kenwood, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of James Luther and Lula Levina (Gates) Spohn. She was united in marriage to Coy Lee Rogers May 5, 1950 in Miami, Oklahoma. Naomi was a devoted wife, mother, sister and friend. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Ronald Rogers, granddaughter Tanya Hackworth, grandson Troy Murphy, and three brothers; Martin Spohn, Howard Spohn and Lloyd Spohn. She is survived by her two daughters; Carolyn Bennett and her husband Jack of Jay, OK and Jan Due and her husband Anthony of Pryor, OK, and by her daughter-in-law Vi Rogers of Eucha, OK. Naomi is also survived by her six siblings, Beulah Conley of Bartlesville, OK, Cherry Cason of Colorado Springs, CO, Gladys Pollard of Leonard, OK, Fred Spohn of Catoosa, OK, Charles Spohn and Don Spohn both from Las Vegas, NV. Naomi was blessed with seven grandchildren; Greg Rogers and his wife Denise of Tulsa, OK, Jerry Murphy and his wife Alecia of Eucha, OK, Todd Bennett and his wife Amy of Rogers, Arkansas, Brian Bennett and his wife Ashely of Mayesville, AR, Jeff Whillhite and his wife Kelsey of Pryor, OK, Anthony A. Due of Wooland Hills, TX and Chris Due of Las Vegas, NV. She adored her 24 Great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4-6PM, Sunday, January 17, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, OK. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 18, 2016 at Jay Assembly of God with Reverend Robert Lokey and Reverend Tim Lunsford officiating. Naomi will be laid to rest in Eucha Cemetery.
