Nathan Dean Kalani Pahukoa, 47 year old Vinita resident died Saturday Morning April 28 at his home. He was born August 2, 1964 in Honolulu, Hawaii to Gerald Mahealani Pahukoa and Lana Alberta Puanani Freitas. Nathan graduated Adair High School in the class of 1982 and moved to the Vinita area in 1989. He and was united in Marriage with Shawn Holmes on May 2, 2009 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Nathan worked 23 years for the State of Oklahoma as a correctional officer where he served as Honor Guard Commander and was a member of the Correctional emergency response team. He was an active member of the first Church of the Nazarene. Nathan was an avid sportsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working out as a body builder. Nathan leaves behind his wife Shawn of the home, three children, Koty Pahukoa, Karyssa Pahuko and Zane Young of the home his father Gerald of Honolulu and mother Lana of Pryor, OK, brothers and sisters include, Bryan, John, Terrena, Christa, Lawrence, Charles, Joshua, Micah and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday May 1, 2012 at Luginbuel Funeral from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 2, 2012 at 10:00 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. David Stevens officiating with interment to follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery at Pryor, OK under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
