Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.....918-786-2261.....Nathan Connor Smith, passed away at the KU Medical Center in Kansas City, KS on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the age of 16. Nathan was born on January 19, 1998 in Gravette, AR, the son of William Smith and Paula (Summerfield) Smith. Nathan grew up most of his life in Grove where he attended school. Last year he and his family moved to Afton where he was currently attending school. He was currently going to the Vo-tech to learn the trade of a diesel mechanic. Nathan had a passion for the game of Baseball. He was always willing to get in and go to work whenever the opportunity arose. Nathan was full of life and was always caught with a smile on his face. He could always light up the room. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his half-sister Joni (Smith) Fleming; paternal grandparents: Carrol Evans and Richard Evans; and one maternal grandfather Leroy Summerfield Sr.; Uncles Charlie Smith and Leroy Summerfield Jr. He is survived by his parents William and Paula Smith of Afton, OK; Sister Kaitlynn Smith of Afton, OK; Half sister Brandi (Smith) Glass of Jay, OK; Maternal grandmother Betty Summerfield of Jay, OK; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the First Baptist Church, Grove, OK on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10AM with Pastor Richard Hart, presiding. There will be public visitation on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK.
