Naydean Edwards

Dorothy Naydean (Rose) Edwards, Grove area resident, died at her home late Saturday evening February 26, 2011 at the age of 75 years. Naydean was born March 6, 1935 in Southwest City, Missouri to her parents, Robert Lee Rose, Sr. and Inus Ellen (Bollman) Rose. She attended and later graduated from Jay schools. Naydean married the love of her life, Kirby Lane Edwards on November 12, 1955 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They celebrated fifty years of marriage prior to his death in February 2006. She worked for Sears in the accounting department while they lived in California during the 1950's. Naydean was a member of Eastern Star, Order of DeMolay Chapter mother, International Order of Rainbow Girls Chapter Mother, and a Moose Lodge member. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Inus; her husband, Kirby; her grandson, Michael. Naydean leaves many loving memories with her family, son, John Edwards and wife Nancy; daughter, Teresa Guinn and husband Charles; brother, Robert Lee Rose, Jr. and wife Joyce; grandchildren, Zachary and wife Sarah, Mallory, Andy, Robby and wife Amy Guinn, Lisa and Leroy Weems, and Patrick and Rachel Guinn; great granddaughter, Ava; as well as many other loving family members and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Wednesday March 2, 2011 at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. Graveside Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday March 3, 2011 at Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
