Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - Langley - 918-256-5555 Nora Fay Bowers, 79 year old Langley resident, passed away Thursday, May 1, 2014. Nora was born in Higbee, Missouri on August 6, 1934 to George and Alma (Ropp) Orton. Nora worked as a circuit board operator for several years. She was also a member of the Powder Horn Park Board. She enjoyed crafting, bargain shopping, and spending time with her family. She attended Langley Baptist Church. Survivors include her children: Jackie Chastain and husband James of Skiatook, Lantz Oliphant of Jay, Angel Bowers of Langley, and John Yanecek and wife Sam of Cedar Rapids, IA, sister Evelyn Westfall of Higbee, MO, brother Bobby Orton of Cedar Rapids, IA, 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Bowers, four children: Sheila Hessman, Larry Oliphant, Elaine Randolph, and Walter Oliphant and 10 siblings. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home in Langley. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Ketchum. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow.
