Norman Whitaker

Norman L. Whitaker passed away at the age of 80 on Wednesday January 21, 2009, at his home. Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife Gwen Whitaker of the home, Three daughters Susan Spencer and her husband Tony of Grove, Sharon Whitaker of Tulsa and Shelli Koons and her husband Bill of Independence, Kansas, five Grandchildren, Becky Lee and her husband Joshua of Fairbanks, Alaska, Micah Spencer also of Fairbanks, Allie Stammer and her husband Stephen of Kansas City, Kansas, Andy Koons and Jaralyn Koons both of Independence, Kansas, three great grandchildren, Taylor, Preston and Zoey Lee all of Fairbanks, Alaska. Funeral services for Mr. Whitaker will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the First Assembly of God Church, with The Rev. Darryl Wootton Officiating. Funeral services are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
