Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. 918-256-5555 Omalea Wright 94 year old Ketchum resident, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, September 30, 2017. She was born on April 25, 1923 in Vinita to Neavin and Pearl (Keller) McSpadden. Omalea attended school and graduated from Ketchum High School. She married Ralph Wright in 1939. Omalea enjoyed raising a big garden, taking care of her yard and flowers, visiting with family and friends and traveling. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Silvertones Choir, and donated a lot of her time to the Blue House. Omalea had worked at Rich's Clothiers, Carter's and the Texaco Travel Mart. She was a member of the Langley Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were, her parents; husband Ralph Wright, 2nd husband, Earl Oleman, a son Ricky Wright; sisters, Vi Walker and Billie Poole and an infant sister; brothers, Kenith McSpadden and Frankie McSpadden. The family includes; her son, Skip Wright and wife Janice of rural Ketchum; her daughter, Connie Wilson and husband Leroy of Foyil; grandchildren, Dana Christie, Mark Wright and wife Darla, Hans Wright and wife Mina, Sean Wright, and David Inman; a brother Mark McSpadden and wife Carol of Ketchum; sisters, Colleen McSpaddden of Wichita, KS, Gloria McSpadden of Wichita, KS; sister in-law Charolette McSpadden of Ketchum; great-grandchildren, Jason Christie and wife Dixie, Travis Christie, Cody Wright, Kaycie Harrison and husband Jordan, Kasha Watts and husband Jesse; and six great-great-grandchildren. Omalea was very proud of her five generations of family. The celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Langley Baptist Church, with Pastor Bill Busch and Pastor Jesse Watts officiating.
