Ones Bright

Ones T. "Tony" Bright, a resident of Enid, OK died Wednesday February 3, 2010 at the home of his son in Edmond, OK. He was born January 26, 1922 in Burbank, OK the son of Arvin and Golden (Strader) Bright. Tony Graduated high school at Jay, OK then attended the Spartan School of Aeronautics and Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa and served in the U.S. Army from 1943 until 1945. He and Lee Ora Spencer were united in marriage in 1942. She preceded him in death on March 12, 2001. Tony worked overseas in Venezuela, Chile and Argentina for Petro Tech until 1963 when he moved to Enid, OK. He worked for George E. Falling, retiring in 1986. He built and played the Fiddle. Tony leaves behind his son and daughter in law Ray and Ann Bright of Edmond, OK, three sisters; Genevieve Conner of Afton, OK, Martha Verner of Springfield, MO and Zenia Hudson of Grove, OK, one grandchild, Golden Eckhardt and three great grandchildren: Gabe, Tristan and Krystalyn. He was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral Services will be Monday February 8, 2010 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bill Busch officiating with interment to follow in Mc Laughlin Cemetery.
