Opal May Alexander, 93, of Miami, OK, passed away Friday, October 27, 2006 at the Osborne Care and Rehab Center in Miami. Born on January 9, 1913 in Nowata County, OK to James and Florence (Shipley) Chaney. Mrs. Alexander had lived in Bernice for 20 years moving from South Coffeyville, OK and had lived in Miami since 2001. She was a homemaker. She and Perry Alexander were married on July 30, 1928 in South Coffeyville; he passed away on Nov. 11, 1991. 2 children; Ann Bell Vail and Bill G. Alexander also preceded her in death. 1 Dau-Marvella Eaton of South Coffeyville survives her, OK 4 Grandchildren and their spouses; LaDonna Eaton, Roy and Judy Vail, Eugene and Shirley Vail and Steven and Charlotte Vail. Six great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
