Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. 918-786-2261 Orville Emmett Wethey, 83, Jay resident, died January 19, 2016 in Beggs, Oklahoma. Orville was born on April 24, 1932 in the Hickory Grove area. He was the son of Theodore E. and Martha A. (Patrick) Wethey. Orville worked as handy man / mechanic, he was a "jack of all trades". He enjoyed coon hunting in his younger days, deer hunting and crappie fishing. Orville was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, his parents, a daughter Paulynn Hope, grandson Soloman Wethey, and son-in-law Jim Denham. He is survived by his three sons; Lee Wethey, and his wife Martha, of Jay, Oklahoma, Wade Wethey, of Afton, Oklahoma, John Wethey, and his wife Sandra, of Miami, Oklahoma, his four daughters; Aretha May Denham, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Betty Louise Drewry, and her husband Charlie, of Vera, Oklahoma, Tammy Latain Baird, and her husband Dale, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Faith McCall, and her husband, Randall of Dewar, Oklahoma. Orville was blessed with twenty-nine grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 2-4PM, Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
