ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK (918) 336-5225 - Pamela Jo Brown went to be with the Lord on March 16, 2017 at the age of 60. She was a resident of Bartlesville, formerly of Barnsdall, Oklahoma. Pam was born on July 2, 1956 in Borger, Texas. She was the daughter of Clara Shouse and Bob Halford. She graduated from Barnsdall High School in 1974. She worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 21 years as a secretary, and also as a legal analyst. She received on-the-job training at Jane Phillips Hospital and worked for two years as a medical transcriptionist. She also worked at Primary Care Associates for four years as a medical transcriptionist. Pam started her own transcription service, Medical Transcription Services, and typed at home for many doctors in Bartlesville and later in Oklahoma City. In addition to typing, Pam loved to decorate. She also loved being a mother and her son, Dusty, was the most precious thing to her. Pam is survived by her son, Dustin Blake Brown and his wife, Kelsey, of Bartlesville; her sister, Sheila Ann Hallagin and her husband, Blaine, of Talala, Oklahoma; and her nieces, Rikki Shay Hallagin of Talala, and Laken Hallagin, and her nephews, Dalton and Dillon; her Aunt Mary Ellyson and Uncle Aubry of Weatherford, Texas; several cousins in Barnsdall and Texas; and her longtime best friends, Paulette Thompson and Charla Head of Barnsdall. Pam was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Shane McLain in 1994; her father, Bob Halford in 2003; mother, Clara Halford in 2010; and grandparents, Cora Ellen and Clyde Halford and Annie and Howard Shelton Shouse and Sandy Shouse; as well as many aunts and uncles. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials in Pamela's memory be made to the American Heart Association. Pam did not wish to have a traditional funeral. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Free Will Baptist Church in Barnsdall. Pastor Rick Loggins will officiate. Interment of the cremains will be in Ethel Reece Cemetery following the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Arnold Moore and Neekamp Funeral Home.
