Paul Lodes

Vinita, OK - Paul Joseph Lodes, 75, died Sunday night, June 11, 2007 at Rosewood Terrace, Vinita, Oklahoma. Paul was born January 11, 1932 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At a very young age, he moved to Vinita, where he grew up and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy. Upon graduation, Paul became a member of the U.S. Army. He was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict. Paul returned to Vinita upon completion of his military service. He worked as a silk-screener and maintenance man for Vinita Flag and Apron for over 30 years, retiring in 2002. Paul was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Vinita. Survivors are a sister, Ann Sikes of San Jose, California; two nieces, Vicky Lara and Patti Beck, both of San Jose; two great-nieces, Aubrey and Amanda Lara and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. A Rosary Service will be held Wednesday, 7 p.m., at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church with Father Alex Kennedy officiating.
