J. Pauline Reno Anderson, 94 year old Delaware County resident, died peacefully at her home near Ketchum on January 1, 2015. She was born on October 29, 1920 in Wagoner, Oklahoma to John A. and Rachel (Baker) Overall; she was the middle child of five siblings. After graduating from Wagoner High School, Pauline marred William Lewis Reno, Jr. in 1940. Together they had five daughters. Lewis preceded her in death in January 1971, she later married Alva "Andy" Anderson. Andy also preceded her in death in January of 1987. Pauline was a child of the Depression and learned her life-long love of cooking from her mother and passed it on to her children and grandchildren. After the death of her first husband, she operated a day care facility at her home and served as a substitute teacher in Ketchum Schools. But her love of piecing and hand quilting kept her busy for the last decades of her life, quilts which she gave to family members, friends and veterans. Preceding her in death were her parents, two husbands, four siblings, Hubert and Joe Overall, Helen Ellis, Vera Eden and one great-grandchild, Wilder Allen Meadows. The surviving family includes: her five daughters, Wilda Beth Douglas and husband Raymond of Tahlequah, Linda Winton and husband Charles of Ketchum, Regina Trahan of the home, Rebecca Hillman and husband Rex of Bartlesville, Rhonda Henson and husband Homer of Louisville, Alabama; six grandchildren, Bryan Winton and wife Emelinda of La Feria, Texas, Brent Douglas and wife Beatriz of Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, Jennifer Winton of Harlingen, Texas, Leslie Gates of Louisville, Alabama, Rachel Meadow and husband Allen of Louisville, Alabama, Phillip Henson and wife Sarah of Huntsville, Alabama; she is also survived by six great-grandchildren, Tyler Winton, Mary Grace Winton, Willy Douglas, Christie Douglas, Jairus Meadows and Walker Meadows; she is also survived by life-long friend, Goldie Brumnett of Wagoner; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the First Southern Baptist Church in Ketchum, with Pastors Bill Busch and Kevin Lancaster officiating.
