Pauline S. Bauer, age 87, died Monday June 4, 2007 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. She was born December 9, 1919 in Bartlesville the daughter of Paul and Julia Shalla. She received her formal education and graduated from Bartlesville High School then attended Tulsa Business College. After graduating Business College Pauline moved to Washington D.C. where she met Tony Bauer to whom she married on June 7, 1947 in Bartlesville. She was a homemaker and worked at Phillips Petroleum Co. for several years in accounting after her children were raised. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and was an avid gardener, growing flowers and vegetables. Pauline was most proud that all three of her girls were College graduates. Pauline will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her great sense of humor will be greatly missed. She is survived by three daughters: Julia and husband Henry Watters of Bartlesville, Louise Ingram of Edmond, OK, Meg and husband Nathan Sobel of Norman, OK, four grand children, Dr. Michael Watters, Melinda Evans, Shalla Strider and Royce Strider, three great grand children, Marli, Marcus and Manning Evans, two nephews and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband Tony in January of 2005, her parents, four sisters and one brother. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday June 6, 2007 at 10:00 a. m. at St. John Catholic Church with The Reverend Festus Maliwa officiating with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rosary prayers for Mrs. Bauer will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Colonial Chapel of the Neekamp - Luginbuel Funeral Home.
