Pauline Compston, 88, of Nowata died on Saturday April 25, 2009 in the Claremore Nursing Home. Pauline was born November 7, 1920 in Nowata, Ok to Ray and Bertha (Beeman) Lybarger. She was raised and educated in Nowata. Pauline was a hairdresser in Nowata for many years. She also played the organ at Hillside Christian Church until her health forced her to retire. To be closer to her family she has lived in the Claremore Nursing home for the past six years. Pauline is survived by her two daughters, Judy Rickett of Bartlesville and Linda Edinger and her husband Don of Claremore, one daughter-in-law Joann Compston of Owasso, seven grandchildren, Mike Hensley, Shari Love, Tom Edinger, Stacie Scavona, Cathy Carter and Larry Compston, Thirteen Great Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Don Compston, one brother Noble Lybarger and one sister Frances Binkley. Honorary Pallbearers include, Mike Hensley, Tom Edinger, Tim Edinger, Johnny Robinson, Terry Robinson and John Scavona. Graveside Services will be held at11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma with Pastor Ben Killion officiating. Interment will follow.
