Pauline King

Pauline Jane (Cook) King, 67 year-old rural Vinita resident, died Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the Craig General Hospital. She was born January 12, 1944 in Livermore, California to Charles D. and Ellen Virginia (Dail) Cook. Pauline was retired from Eastern State Hospital where she had worked 27 years as a mental health aide and time keeper. She married Charley King on October 13, 1978 in Miami, Oklahoma. The family includes: her husband Charley of the home, sons, Jim Cook, John and wife Linda McKillip, Carl McKillip; daughters, Misty Sidel and husband Travis, Renee Todd and husband Richard; grandchildren, Hunter and Hallie Todd, Alexa and Trey Sidel, Maggie Cook, Caleb and Lydia Price, Ian Allison, John Michael, Kali, CJ, and Josh McKillip, and a granddaughter in the Philippines; father in-law, Ray King; brothers, Carl and Vince Cook; sisters, Lee Walker and Betty Moore; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Virginia Cook, brother Dale Edward Cook, a son, Michael "Fish" Baker, grandsons, Lucas Cook and Joshua Price; mother in-law, Fay King; and a daughter in-law, Julie Cook. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday evening at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita. The funeral service will be held Friday, June 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Family Praise Center in Vinita, with Rev. Jerry Ogdon officiating, assisted by Lynn Bartgis. Interment will follow at the King Family Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Walyn Hensley, Brian Colvin, Jeff Harden, Sonny England, Shane Ornder and Billy Heard. Honorary bearers will be; Brian Washam, Jim Wright, John Pinkston, Ron Davis and David Lee. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
