Pauline Price, 87, of Nowata, passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at home. She was born October 3, 1926, in Clayton, New Mexico, the daughter of Charles Dugger and Leona Harrison. Pauline attended Nowata schools. On July 23, 1979, she was united in marriage to Virgil Price in Miami, Oklahoma. Pauline worked at the Rexall, Hickory House, Hayes House, City Hall and the Nowata City/County Library. In her spare time she enjoyed reading, old westerns, cattle, her dogs, and spending time with her friends, family, children, and grandchildren. Pauline is survived by two children, Bob (Debbie) Hurd of Nowata, and Colleen (Mark) Sid of Mesa, Arizona; five grandchildren, Jason Hurd, Gail Reece, David Hurd, Angie Sargent, and Nicholas Travis; fourteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Jack (Estelle) Dugger of Nowata and John (Carol) Adair of Mobile, Alabama; and two sisters, Mamie Harlan Hill of Rogers, Arkansas, and Lula Vance of Nowata. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a brother, Johnnie Dugger; two sisters, Lucy Flimings and Edna Gay; and a great-granddaughter, Janie Ferguson. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Benjamin Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Lawrence Green officiating with interment following at Nowata Relocated Cemetery.
