Pearlie Pickup, Eucha resident, died peacefully surrounded by her family on October 31, 2013, at the age of 68 years. She was born on January 12, 1945 in Clouds Creek, Delaware County, Oklahoma, to her parents, Charlie and Lula (Cornshucker) Davis. She attended and graduated Jay Schools in 1963. Pearlie married Turner Pickup on September 5, 1967. Pearlie enjoyed fishing, OU football, taking care of her roses, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Turner; and half brother, JC Davis. Pearlie leaves many loving memories with her family, sons, Kevin Pickup and Rodney Pickup and wife Kay; daughters, Sheila Studie and husband Darrin, and Shawnda Pickup; brother Andrew Davis; sister, Mary Summerfield and half sister, Marie Bird; twelve grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Alice Wolf and Louise Adams; many nieces and nephews; and several other loving relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be held Sunday November 3, 2013 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday November 4, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Jay. Junior Jones and Duke Pickup will officiate. Interment will follow with Indian Rites at Hillside Cemetery.
