Philip Jesse Beisly, Jr. 75 year-old Vinita resident, died Friday, January 08, 2010 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born January 20, 1934 in Vinita to Philip Jesse and Bessie Ann (Thomas) Beisly and was a graduate of Centralia Schools. Philip married Aline Ketchum on March 3, 1961 at the Bunker Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of the First Church of God in Vinita. Philip was a carpenter, farmer-stockman, Craig County Commissioner District #1 from 1982 to 1986 and was a Pelivan driver for Grand Gateway for twenty years, before retiring in 2003. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Buford and Franklin Beisly, two sisters, Naomi Cauthon and Donna Gray; a son in-law Andy Gilmore and a grandson Jason Bible. The family includes; his wife Aline of the home, three daughters, Marla Bible and husband Roy Joe, Lora Williams and husband Mike, Janie Lomshek and husband Dominic all of Vinita; one brother, Richard Leon Beisly of Altoona, Kansas, two sisters, Ann Charles of Broken Arrow and Betty Jo Cordray of Vinita; thirteen grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of God in Vinita, with Pastor Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Interment will follow at the Timpson Chapel Cemetery.
