Phillip Gingerich

June 11, 1942 — May 16, 2010

Phillip R. Gingerich, 67, of Bartlesville departed this life on Sunday, May 16, 2010. Funeral services under the direction of the Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata will be held on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 2:00p.m. in the First Church of God in Nowata. Interment will be in the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. On-line condolences can be left for the family at www.honoringmemories.com. Mr. Gingerich was born June 11, 1942 in Nowata, Oklahoma the son of Harry (Jake) Gingerich and Mary Connor-Gingerich. He graduated from Nowata High School and entered the United States Air Force where he served until retiring after 20 years. He later was employed with and retired from Boeing Aircraft of Tulsa. Mr. Gingerich was a member of the First Church of God. Mr. Gingerich is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue of the home; by son, John Jay Gingerich and wife Cindy of Owasso; by daughter, Christina Cichon of Tulsa; by his parents; by brother Leo Gingerich and wife Jolene of Nowata; by four grandchildren; by three great-grandchildren; and by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Mr. Gingerich was preceded in death by an infant son, Bradley, and by a sister, Sue Hunt.
