Phyllis Boyle

July 29, 1934 — January 24, 2011

Phyllis was born July 29, 1934 in Colony, Kansas, the daughter of Vern and Pauline (Ferguson) Wilmoth. Phyllis grew up in Colony, KS where she graduated from high school. She furthered her education, attending Kansas State University where she attained a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education. Phyllis was wed to Jack Boyle on June 1, 1958. Phyllis pursued her career in education, teaching at several schools in Kansas, until the Boyle's family began to increase. As a mother, Phyllis stayed home to raise her sons, David and Doug. Once the boys were grown and left home, Phyllis and Jack found a new passion and devoted much time to travel. In total, Phyllis and Jack boarded nine cruises, encompassing 15 different countries and spent 10 years traveling the United States in their motor coach. Phyllis leaves behind to honor her memory: her loving husband of 52 years, Jack Boyle; sons: David Boyle and his wife Tonya and Doug Boyle; grandchildren: Amanda and Christopher; one great granddaughter, Molly; and brother, Robert Wilmoth. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents.
