Benjamin Funeral Service ~ Nowata, Oklahoma........................................Phyllis J. Pollock, 87, of Nowata, OK. passed away quietly in her sleep on April 18, 2015 at the Jane Phillips Nowata Health Center. She was born March 28, 1928 in Delaware, OK to David Washburn and Nellie May. Phyllis was a wife and homemaker to husband James C. Pollock and her six sons. In her later years, she enjoyed dressing up and performing as Joy Bell the clown for the church, kid's parties, and reunions. She loved making quilts and sewing. You never saw her without her yarn and a crochet hook in her hands. Phyllis is survived by her sons, Audie Mills and wife Sophie of California, Jessie Mills of Bartlesville, Arthur Mills of Nowata, Kenneth Pollock and wife Margaret of South Carolina, John Pollock and wife Jane of North Carolina, Donald Pollock of California, thirteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great grandchildren Memorial services are 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Trinity Full Gospel Church with Connie Wilson officiating.
