Preston "Skip" Chandler, Jr., 46 year old Ketchum resident, died Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in Disney. He was born September 10, 1965 in Afton, Oklahoma to Johana (Browning) and Preston Abe Chandler. Skip attended school in Adair, was the owner of the Full Moon Saloon and worked for Grand Lake Termite and Pest Control out of Cleora. He was married to Melanie (Davidson) Ford in April of 2007. Skip enjoyed NASCAR, golf, hunting, shooting skeet, pool, darts, Thunder Basketball and the Oklahoma Sooners. The family includes: his wife Melanie of the home; children, Allyson Chandler, Ashley Beisley and husband Billy, Blain Chandler and wife Sabrina and Emily Chandler, all of Ketchum; his mother and step-father, Johana and Don Palmerlee; brothers, Tom, Wayne, and Don Smith and Rex Chandler; three grandchildren, Landon and Logan Beisley, Cooper Chandler; step daughter, Ashley Hagan and husband Trey; step-grandchildren, Landen and Traeh Hagan; brother and sister in-law Scott and Angie Wiggy; mother and father in-law, Marlene and Bill Hodges; numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Preston Chandler, Sr. The memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. at the Ketchum High School Gymnasium, with Pastor Kevin Lancaster officiating.
