Rachel Barton

Rachel A. Barton, 58 year old Vinita resident, died Saturday, May 14, 2011 at the Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. She was born November 10, 1952 in Indiana, Pennsylvania to Dennis Wade and Phyllis (Filler) Ray, Sr. Rachel was married to Kenneth Barton on February 8, 1970 in Pryor; Kenneth preceded her in death in 2006. She was retired from Eastern State Hospital. Rachel was a member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Vinita. She enjoyed being with her friends and visiting, going fishing and most of all shopping. The family includes: two sisters, Kathy Hartman and Sissy Ray both of Pennsylvania, her aunt, Martha Webb of Lompoc, California, her good friends, Lloyd and Betty Moore of Vinita, numerous other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death, were her parents, husband, and two brothers. The visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Luginbuel Chapel, with Pastor Justin Turner officiating.
