Jay- Ralph Eugene Ramseyer "Corky", 49, died October 29, 2007 in Grove, Oklahoma at Integris Grove General Hospital. Corky was born May 29, 1958 in St. Louis Missouri to Roy Sr. and Mary Alice (McMonigle) Ramseyer. Ralph served eight years in the Army National Guard. Ralph married Rosie SourJohn February 7, 1981 in Jay, Oklahoma. He worked for Simmons Foods as a knife sharpener. Ralph enjoyed fishing for catfish, making deer jerky and cooking for everyone. Corky is survived by his father Roy Ramseyer, Sr. of Hominy, wife, Rosie of the home, his daughter Theia Sands and her husband Craig of Jay, Oklahoma, five sisters, Pam Smith of Afton, Oklahoma, Connie Johnson of Vinita, Oklahoma, Jackie Hendren of Dewey, Oklahoma, Debbie Mittrucker of Spencer Iowa, and Margaret McMonigle of Tulsa, Oklahoma, three brothers Robert Ramseyer & Ray Dean Ramseyer both of Vinita, Oklahoma, Roy "Pete" Ramseyer Jr., three grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews. One special nephew Ritchie Hedgepath. Ralph was preceded in death by his mother Mary Alice Ramseyer in 1970. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2007, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2007 at the First Assembly of God Church in Jay, Oklahoma, with Craig Sands and Stanley Grass officiating and music provided by the Creek Killers. Serving as casket bearers will be Kenny King, Gene Woodcock, Aaron Roberts, Brandon Russell, Ritchie Hedgpath, Russel Johnson, Boone Johnson and Paul Johnson, honorary casket bearers will be Tommy Sands, Butch Chunstudy, Lee Gray, Gordon Chunstudy, Claude Sanders and Dustin Ramseyer.
