Reba Wilkins

Vinita, OK - Reba Shirley Wilkins, 68, died early Saturday, June 16, 2007 at her home in Vinita. Shirley was born December 9, 1938 at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Delbert Brady and Ruby (Weatherby) Brady. She grew up in Tulsa and on May 25, 1956, Shirley married Marvin Wilkins. She was a hairdresser and operated her own salons in Vinita and White Oak, Oklahoma. Shirley lived many locations, while Marvin was in the military. She moved to Vinita in 1975. Survivors are three children, Calvin Wilkins of Vinita, Sonny Wilkins of Pensacola, Oklahoma and Teri Nel of Vinita; her former husband, Marvin of White Oak; one brother, Bud Brady of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Cherish Abbott of Vinita, Weston Wilkins of White Oak, Callie Wilkins of Corinth, Texas, Matthew Wilkins of Chelsea, Oklahoma and Luke Nel of White Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private family services will be held for Mrs. Wilkins.
